I could not find an event entry for this year's Oracle OpenWorld 2009, so I took the liberty of adding it to the Events calendar.
My question - when you add an event to the Ning calendar, does it automatically become an open invitation? Technically the only person that I "invited" to Oracle OpenWorld was Eddie, but I want to make sure that other people can indicate if they are attending. If I need to change a setting in the event to make it open, please let me know.
Thanks for creating the event John. By default, the event is public, meaning any member can view it and RSVP. You can still however invite as many people (members or not) to RSVP.
By the way, I'm not attending OOW this year. Are you?
My travel to Oracle OpenWorld was approved in July. Aris Prassinos will be involved in two presentations. Should be a very good conference, even if the Sun acquisition isn't resolved by that time.
