Oracle Community

The social network for Oracle people

I guess for me the highlight was the Unconference. I didn't attend at all last year because I was so busy attending regular sessions, but this year I carved out some time to spend at the overlooks. I attended two sessions from Brian "Bex" Huff, one from Jake Kuramoto, and the Thursday morning brainstorming session with Oracle Marketing and others. I also presented, which was enjoyable. There were other highlights (the blogger meetup, the WebLogic session I attended, and some private functions), but the Unconference really stands out for me.

For me the highlight was the many face-to-face meetings I had with Oracle bloggers, Aces and people I have only met virtually. The appreciation party was fun too. Moreover, this year's conference was the first one I was also a presenter and had a blogger's credential, dangerous combination :)

For me meeting a lot of people. Getting a lot of knowledge was the highlight of the conference. Most of the sessions made me think about future product roadmaps and brought me in tune with what every one else is doing. Also i had the chance to meet a lot of Intelligent minds that frequented the OTN lounge.
