Since we are performing some (quite interesting) tests with Oracle VM managed through Grid Control, I allow me to post this small update :

Did you notice that RAC has nothing to do with high availability :-)

Since 11.2 it has been moved from the High Availability Section

To the Grid computing :

Indeed, real High Availability is usually reached thorugh Data Guard. However RAC allows to build up scalable Oracle infrastructures for consolidation purposes.

I am new member in this group i have just move from oracle form 6i to apps (EBS)
