If so have you heard of GL Wand enabling excel based reporting for financial managers integrated with Oracle e-business suite with GL module? Let me know I'm trying to build some connections in Japan in the oracle user community.

Alexandre,
The instances i mentioned are all installed on Linux (Oracle Unbreakable Linux). There is one APPS instance which i have installed on Windows NT4...and this is a 11.0.3 version of APPS. I made this for a customer, which wanted to port HP-UX 11 to VMware. The only possibillity for 11.0.3 are either Windows or Solaris, and therefore i choose to do a platform migration from HPUX to Windows. I have this running by the customer on an ESX server. Works excellent!! A little bit back in time, because the database is still 8.0.5 :-). Very fast, this old Oracle stuff running on dual core processors with 2GB RAM

Hi Alexandre,

I have several EBS instances running on VMware server:
11.5.10CU2 English (vision with 9.2.0.4 datbase)
11.5.10CU2 English and Dutch (NLS (vision with 9.2.0.4 datbase))
R12v3 English, R12v4 Eglish, R12v4 English Dutch, R12v4 English Dutch French, R12v4 English Spanish, R12v4 Engels + Frans
All installed on Oracle Unbreakable Linux (VMware server host Windows XP or Vista)

11.5.10CU2 performs very well on an external USB2 harddisk, connected to a notebook with 2GB internal memory. R12 needs at least 3GB internal memory for the VMware server host.

I will send you more info direct by email if you like...maybe you can try the instance via remote login..
Kind regards Hans

JDE Functional Consultant (6)

Our client (in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry) is in the process of consolidating three of its companies in Japan into a single company and operating unit. A significant amount of work has been completed in designing the future business processes and organizational structure. The next phase is the IT implementation phase required to support the consolidation of the businesses into a single, more efficient operating company. There will be a large IT implementation supporting the initiative, including BI, Siebel, JDE and infrastructure. The planned IT start is September 1, 2008 and the planned project end date is July 31, 2009.

We are currently looking for JDE functional resources that speak English and Japanese to support this initiative.

• We are in need of (2) Bilingual Order to Cash Resources, Advanced pricing and service modules a plus.
• We are in need of (2) Bilingual Finance Resources, AR and Fixed Assets a plus.
• We are in need of (2) Bilingual Inventory and Procurement Resources, Planning, Forecasting, and Warehouse Consolidation a plus.

This is a highly valued US client. Please let me know what you find - we may have the ability to be flexible due to the constraints of finding a bilingual resource
