Parent value in dependent value set

Hi all

I have problem, I will be great if anyone of you can help me.

The problem is I have 2 Segments in y COA, that one of them is depend on the other one.
Now I want to create parent value in dependent value set, but system stop me from checking Parent Check box and says "Field is protected against update".

How can I have parent value in dependent value set in COA?

EAM Migration from 11i to 12.1

Found out yesterday that there are some specific pre-migration setup steps that need to be completed in order for EAM assets to migrate correctly. Apprently EAM gets integrated with Oracle Installed Base in release 12 and for that integration to work you have to have your Install Base parameters set up appropriately.
