WHICH ONE IS BETTER ? To Get a DB in an area or different DB in diff states, as in 1 central DB for a big organisation or getting different DB for the different cities for that same company and in the same country. I really need a convincing advice/comment....

We have a Real Application Cluster 11gR2 environment running in 7 nodes Oracle Clusterware. We need to reconfigure the database control to manage the whole cluster nodes. The idea is to reconfigure the DB Control to run on the node number 3 of the cluster and having the EM agents running on the remaining nodes of the cluster. In this post, I will share with you the correct procedure to do it.

We have found one of our Cluster 7 nodes environment down and we can’t bring it up again.
-bash-3.2$ crsctl status res -t
CRS-4535: Cannot communicate with Cluster Ready Services

my oracle 9i database is running on a Windows server and I intend to duplicate these windows server.
my question: would the Oracle database on the new server (copy) also work?
Can I immediately start the database after the copy operation of windows?
I have the same questions: If I copy a unix server, can someone help me?
